Pope Francis’ Last Encyclical concerns itself with the Sacred Heart of Jesus, an old devotion in the Catholic Church.  Francis begins in scripture and then moves through to the various saints throughout the ages (St Francis de Sales, St Claude de la Colombiere, St Charles de Foucauld, St Therese of the Child Jesus, etc. ) who have had great devotion to the Sacred Heart.  He concludes with an exhortation to make love the central message of Christians to the world.
