Exchanges & Refunds
EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS WILL BE MADE AT THE SOLE DISCRECTION OF THE CATHOLIC SHOP.
Any item/s that have been specifically ordered and made for a client cannot be refunded.
AN ADMINISTRATIVE FEE OF 20%, WILL BE CHARGED ON THE PURCHASE VALUE OF THE EXCHANGED ITEMS & RETURNS, EXCLUDING THE POSTAGE OR COURIER COSTS. ANY DISCOUNT GIVEN ON THE ORIGINAL PRICE, WILL BE FORFEITED. THE PURCHASER REMAINS LIABLE FOR ANY POSTAGE OR COURIER COSTS, APPLICABLE TO RETURN THE EXCANGED GOODS TO THE CATHOLIC SHOP, AND FOR THE EXCHANGED ITEMS TO BE DELIVERED TO THE PURCHASER.
MDS COLLIVERY / COURIERS
– all orders must be received before 11am, in order to make use of the various options, e.g. overnight. If not received timeously, it would then cause a delay in your delivery. – We need a physical address for delivery during office hours please. We cannot deliver to Post-boxes.
Deliveries are from Monday to Friday. We unfortunately do not pack, courier or post on a Saturday or Sunday.Should you wish a Saturday or Sunday delivery, this can be done, but carry additional costing. R600 for Main Centers – please email us timeousely for a quote. firstname.lastname@example.org

All shipping charges are estimated. Actual shipping charges may vary. We will email you if the costs are more than the estimate.
Acceptance – delivery – transport
Any condition of acceptance other than the ones adopted by us on confirmation of order, will be disregarded. The goods are considered received and accepted upon shipment from the Catholic Shop or our facilities, provided that there is no special Agreement. The goods are always sold as reflected on our web site, including when they are directly collected by the seller, or when the seller or the Catholic Shop appoint a courier operator to transport the goods to the purchaser. The seller cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss of value to the goods once collected from the Catholic Shop. Transportation costs and possible risks, unless otherwise agreed in writing, will be at the expense of the purchaser. The goods are shipped at the purchaser’s risk. Only the courier company can be held responsible for damage caused during transportation. If the Catholic Shop arranges or appoints a courier or logistics company, we are only to be considered as acting in the capacity of a proxy of the purchaser. The Purchaser will be notified the day the goods are shipped as to the tracking number both on the purchaser’s online profile as well as per email. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to follow up on the courier tracking.
Shipment of the goods, including when it is free of charge, is at the purchaser’s risk and responsibility, who commits himself/herself to verifying the state of the goods and packages upon arrival and if necessary filing a claim against the courier in the required time and format. Unless special directions are given by the purchaser with regard to the way and means of shipment, it will be carried out without any guarantee as to the choice of the most economical rate or the shortest route.
Return Policy on Sterling Silver / Gold and Rolled Gold Jewellery
The Catholic Shop wants you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If there is anything you are unhappy with and if you wish to return a product, please follow the instructions on our Returns Page, as well as reading the terms and conditions applicable to jewellery items.
There are a few things to keep in mind when returning jewellery you purchased online from the Catholic Shop:
You have 7 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
Items have to be in their original condition, as when they were dispatched from our offices and/or handed over to the respective courier/shipping service.
The packaging does not need to be intact. Any items that have been personalized or custom made, cannot be returned. You will need to clearly state the reason for your return request, which needs to be accompanied by a picture of your jewellery and sent via email to email@example.com prior to shipping the item back to the Catholic Shop. For hygiene reasons any intimate jewellery items, such as pierced earrings, etc., cannot be returned.
Please be aware that any items ordered in the incorrect size / length will incur a resizing fee in conjunction with a courier charge for the return and re-delivery of the item. Important: Please ensure that you send your order back with tracking and insurance. Should the parcel be lost en route to us, you will have to make a claim with your respective courier service.
Catholic Shop does not offer any warranty or guarantee on our products. Please note that return requests / refunds will only be processed once your email request (see above) has been received by us, and should we undertake to carry out any action, once the item is subsequently received by us.
Please note!! The initial postage and packaging charge is non-refundable, except where we have agreed to such costs, in writing. If the items are found to defective (through no fault of our own, e.g., wearing or use), we will replace the items, which includes any shipping charges you have paid, provided that you have not worn, used or damaged the items. Catholic Shop reserves the right to charge a 20% administration fee on refunds for any returned items.
