The Hebrew word for angel means “messenger envoy”.  Uriel is one of the chief archangels, the others being Michael, Raphael and Gabriel.  In Hebrew literature, Uriel is associated with light and is referred to as the one Who brings Light to Israel.

Chaplet measures 21cm in length.

We used 5mm silver faceted crystal glass beads (denoting the light).   Each bead is capped with tiny silver plated flower caps.   Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in an arch is the centre piece (imported from Italy) and the Angel with two silver crystal finishes off the chaplet.
